Stainless 317L has a high tensile and creep strength at elevated temperatures. Due to its excellent corrosion resistance it has been used in handling many of the chemicals used by the chemical process industries.

Available forms are seamless pipe, welded pipe, seamless tube, welded tube, bar, wire, sheet, plate, forgings, pipe fittings and flanges.
